Our trip began in a small town outside of Cape Town called Stellenbosch. The Englishman had friends getting married there, so we spent a few days in wine country. It was like a cross between Napa Valley and Naples Florida to give you an idea. Very posh. Not the Africa you imagine.
The scenery was breathtaking, the wine spectacular and the ostriches’ adorable!
After Stellenbosch we made our way into Cape Town for several days. We visited Robben Island where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held.
Next stop is a little island named Zanzibar off the East coast of Africa. There’ll be no power where we’re going, so we’ll be roughing it tech free for at least a week. I’ll check in when we leave Zanzibar with lots of pictures 🙂
Lots of love to all my peeps out there. xoxoxo
I must know, what do the goats do when they get to the top of the stairs?? Carefully turn around or jump?? THAT would be one great jumping photo. (And speaking of jumping, I love that you found a frame, made just for a perfect African jump photo!) Looks beautiful.
xoxo
Well, Cindy. If you must know, there was a little goat house inside the tower. So they sleep in there, I presume. Then when they awake fresh from a good nights sleep, they swan dive from the window into a pillow of hay laid out especially for them in the mornings.
When are you meeting me out in the world again? I miss you! xxooo
